At the Women’s Centre, our mission is to ensure that any woman (and their family) experiencing multiple-complex needs has the opportunity to access our services. We aim to transform the way women experience services through a whole system approach, providing appropriate support to improve outcomes for women and the wider community. 

Location: Gloucester Women’s Centre 

Salary: £29,000 per annum 

Hours: Full-time – 35 hours 

Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension in force (6% employer contribution) 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Worker to join our Families team. In this role, you will oversee contracts under the Families pathway, hold a caseload of women, and provide holistic support to address the needs of the whole family. You will also provide supervision and leadership to a small team of staff. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide supervision and leadership to a small team, supporting high‑quality, trauma‑informed practice 
  • Oversee referrals to the Families / Family Focus pathway, ensuring timely assessments and effective case management 
  • Hold a caseload of women and families, delivering holistic 1:1 practical and emotional support 
  • Develop and maintain strong multi‑agency partnerships and attend relevant meetings to advocate for women and families 
  • Facilitate group interventions and provide outreach to improve engagement and accessibility 
  • Maintain accurate case records, data collection and reporting to meet contractual outcomes 
  • Contribute to the day‑to‑day operational delivery of the Women’s Centre and uphold safeguarding and organisational policies 

Requirements: 

  • At least 2 years’ experience working with women with multiple complex needs. 
  • Experience in senior responsibilities and developing partnerships with local organisations 
  • Ability to undertake data recording, evaluation, and report-writing 
  • In-depth knowledge of issues affecting women and families, such as domestic abuse and substance misuse 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
